Profile

Your profile is a set of data about yourself that you choose make available to or hide from other members of the forum. When viewing any thread you can follow the link on a member's name to see his or her profile. You can also do this from the list of members which you can access via the link on the home page. You may only edit your own profile.

Editing your profile

Go to the from the main menu.

Once in the Member Centre you will see on the left hand side of the window some sets of attributes that you may wish to enter or modify. Selecting any of these links will display the relevant information on the right hand side. Edit any of the fields as necessary and submit the form.

We ask that you use your real name as screen name and that you enter your location. Other personal details including your sex and age are entirely at your discretion.

By default other members will be able to e-mail you from your profile page and from any thread to which you have contributed. You can suppress your e-mail address if you wish.

Avatars

Avatars are the small images or characatures that you see on the left hand side of threads, under the member's name. To change or select your avatar go to "Avatar settings" in the Member Centre. You can select an avatar from the library or enter the URL of an avatar on another site.
