Can anyone shed some light as to what the pipe on the rear quarterlight is for, I have noticwd it on a few Japanese Mini Marcoses ?

I really wouldn't now how to say it in English.

bud I think it is fore the fumes of the petrol tank (race car / in car filing) Guy Humphries probably has the same system .
we say in Holland (be en ont luchting)

I think you are right! Its the breather for the fuel tank

Ah, I just realised that neither car has the standard fuel filler hole, the white car has it on the opposite side high on the C pillar, you can see the elbow through the back screen and the Aston filler cap is just visable over the top edge of the pillar.

Further investigation reveals an aluminium petrol tank in the blue car also.

You would think they would execute the job a bit more neatly considering how stunning the rest of the car looks.

Just think about this big fact is dangerous toe have gasoline fumes in your car.
