Mini Marcos Mk. III, Owner: Joost van Diën (NL)

   

Joost writes: “I am Joost van Diën from Holland and the proud owner of two Mini Marcosses. I was 15 years of age when I visited the Bromley Pageant in 2006 when I first saw a Mini Marcos. It was an orange Mk IV. I loved it from the first time I saw it. My dad made a few pictures with me in the car. When I came back in Holland I looked for a Mini Marcos but there were none for sale in Holland or Belgium. At least not for my smallish budget that is. “A few months later though I noticed a small advertisement: a Mini Marcos for sale! There was not much information and no pictures of it. So I send an email and a few days later we went to see the car. It was actually some sort of a barn find; the MM was under a piece of plastic sheet, half in the bushes. But It was a real Mini Marcos Mk3 and the price was very reasonable so I bought it.” The first picture shows the car in earlier times.
