What is it? The Marcos Mailing List has been set up to facilitate the discussion by electronic mail of all aspects of Marcos and associated cars, including Mini Jem, Kingfisher Sprint, Costin and the Adams Bros' Probes. Once you have subscribed to the list you will be able to post messages to the list and you will receive messages posted by other members of the list. You can unsubscribe and resubscribe at any time. Messages for the list should be sent to marcos@autox.team.net. When replying to messages remember to include this address. A normal reply will by default go only to the sender of the original message. How to Subscribe There are two ways to subscribe: you can visit the List Manager site where you can view the lists and subscribe to or unsubscribe from any of them. Alternatively you can send an e-mail message to majordomo@autox.team.net containing the following lines in the body of the message: subscribe marcos [address] end where the optional field "address" is the e-mail address at which you wish to receive list messages (don't type the brackets). If you leave out the address the reply address of your message will be used. The "end" just tells the server to ignore anything that follows such as an automatic signature file. You will receive an authentication key at the specified address which you must return to the list server. On receipt of this the server will send you a confirmation message and a welcome message with full instructions for posting messages, unsubscribing, etc. How to Unsubscribe To remove yourself from the list follow the same procedure, but if using the e-mail method the commands should be: unsubscribe marcos [address] end If you change your e-mail address you will need to unsubscribe from the old address and subscribe at your new address. You may unsubscribe temporarily if, for example, you are going on holiday. In this case you are able to resubscribe without going through the full authentication procedure. Finally... The list is independent of the Mini Marcos Owners Club and of other Marcos clubs. Participation is free of charge, apart from your normal e-mail costs, but it should not be used for commercial purposes.
